My work represents the segment of population often underserved and underappreciated in art. Many of the museums and art galleries that I visit has a small to non-existent collection of art for or by people of color. Not only subjective to Afro-Centric ideas, the key is to be inclusive to as much of society as possible so that all can enjoy and learn from my art. The goal for my work is to tell a story of heritage through abstract and contemporary art.

Pushing the boundaries of what is understood and acceptable has long been a motivating factor for what I create. Each blank canvas is an opportunity to challenge my creativity, skill, and execution from an idea in my mind to piece of art to share with the world. I hope to inspire the next generation of artist to be brave and challenge traditional standard and practices for what is considered fine art.
